Hospitalists in academic medicine attend the Academic Hospital Medicine Leadership Summit to network and exchange ideas relative to practice, career development and advocacy within the context of academic medicine. The agenda is usually built around a theme, with panel discussions from leaders in the field.

You do not need an invitation to attend the Summit, but registration is required. Please note that the Summit is not a CME event. The cost of attending the Summit is $150.

Early-career academic hospitalists can receive mentorship from up to three senior faculty members during this special session, held on March 7, 2016 from Noon – 1:00 p.m. The first 25 early-career participants to enroll will be accepted. Since participants are matched to mentors based on their affiliations and experience, you must preregister at this link by December 18, 2015.

To sign up, you will be asked to provide:

  • Two specific questions that you would like to have addressed through this session.  If you are a seeking mentorship on a research project, please include a statement of research aims or goals.
  • A brief bio or CV.
It will not be possible to register for this activity on-site at HM16, and there is no additional fee.
